The List...

I have started compiling a little list of things that I need to get done, and that list is just staring at me. Taunting me.

I feel like I have a lot of things that I need to update on in here, but I am just going to graze over them!

A lot of you know me in passing by interactions through competitions, stories, and other places in the forums, but some of you know me very well, and you know there are things in my life that have been hindering me from functioning properly lately. I might as well blog about it:

My fiance and I have split up. After 5 rocky years, it was time for it to be over. I am now in the confusing process of putting my life back together, and getting everything straight. For the past couple of weeks, I have been in a daze, even though I knew that I was going to have to end this toxic relationship at some point. Because of this, I have had to drop some things that I love dearly, and some other things came to and end for other reasons.

I will say this - this is another reason why things that happened hit me so hard. I was already frail, and I felt like I was being kicked when I was down. But I will be ok, and I will rise above. I just want to put EVERYTHING in the past behind me, and move forward. The future is all I can focus on right now. So with that in mind...here are some various goings on from the sim-life of me!

In my modeling news:

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Cycle 2 has ended with PistolKitten being declared the winner! She was a fabulous competitor, and I was so excited to have her compete in this cycle! It was amazing to watch the other contestants grow as they became inspired by her mad skillz. After some thought, I have decided NOT to start Cycle 3 immediately, but to give it a break until SEPTEMBER. I know that there are a few of my regular competitors that have mentioned they will be on vacation during August, and I just think it will be easier to start this all back up after school has begun again, and everything is settled. (PK - I am still working on your sig - I will have it emailed to you sometime this week!)

All About Me is currently in the judging stage for the FINAL ASSIGNMENT! *phew* I am so glad that one is over! I really enjoyed it because I got to know the contestants so well through their assignments, and everyone did a fantastic job. I think the final results are going to be really close! :) I have no plans to do another cycle of this competition, but in the future, who knows? Maybe!

I am not one to make someone join another site, so if you are interested in joining the comp, but not simpure, you are able to email me your assignments, as they will be sent in privately, anyways. So far we have over 20 reserves and about 10 auditions turned in, so I think it's doing well! I am really excited. Phebes and B are on board with me on judging this one, and I think it's going to be something new and inventive for people to try and enjoy. I plan to make this a continuous cycle competition if all goes well!

In other comp news, I am entered in "Strike-A-Pose" hosted by commeuneplume and DrMusix on the officials. It's a really awesome comp so far, and I just have to get my second assignment done before the 2nd. I think I am gonna start doing my comp assignments on my mom's computer, as hers is a lot better graphics wise, than mine. I drool of her smooth simmies! *hehe*

In case you are interested, these are my photos from the first assignment. I didn't do so hot scores wise, as I figured I wouldn't, due to lack of clutter...but I love them! :) I had to use inspiration from the GAP, and it is definitely NOT my "style." I feel like I was able to represent it well, though. I was going for clean and simple, with a lot of preppy style thrown in!

(Talon - the model in the glasses, is my new boyfriend. :-P I feel in love with him in these glasses!)

Stacia is so adorable to me, I just LOVE her! :)

In order from left to right, you have Silver St. Claire (a model that was used in my Sensation story), Talon Lukas, Stacia Rouge, Garnett York (son of Venus and Brad, of "Venus Does Riverview") and a special someone that you will be meeting soon enough. ;)

I have decided that I will limit myself to joining one competition at a time, and judging one competition. I was chosen as a judge for a modeling comp that looks really fun! It's based around advertising, and the host is a really nice girl. It's called "Work It!" and you can find it here:

In story news, I am working on a Venus chapter, and this will be her final. It's sort of bittersweet, but the good thing is, we will always hear more from her...and I will have more time to work on my legacy! I think this next generation of The Braxton's is going to breathe some life into it! I just know you all are gonna love Blaze!

Another thing that will get done this week, is the Braxton download page (updated for Generation 3) and then I will upload a few of my models that are just sitting around waiting to be played with!

Right now...it's off to play with Venus and get her finished up right!

Take your shitty, biased-competitions (Phebes for Host Choice, Crowd Fav, AND 1st? How dumb do you think we are? Obviously not as dumb as your "real" friends), over to your shitty forum and just leave everyone alone already.

You are such a fake cunt it's not even funny. Up and abandon everyone at the first sign of attention, ignore everyone who doesn't pat you on the head about how fantastic your new forum is. WOW!

So many things to do, I am overwhelmed! :) Of course, I guess you all saw my entry about the new site. I hope that you all have at least checked it out. It's definitely worth a look. Brad, Phil and I have spent a lot of time on it. We seem to be getting quite a little group of regulars together! In the end, so long as people are enjoying themselves, that is all that matters to me. We are having fun, and that is the main thing.

As far as modeling goes, I have had to fight joining comps...although I tried to join Jillie's "Little Black Bra" and also a comp hosted by Hoxha on the officials. Unfortunately, my computer just isn't up to handling right now. I sort of feel like it's a sign that I shouldn't take up any more projects right now. I still have Sensation, although I am simply a writer now, and my two hosted comps. When AAM is over, I will be starting my new comp soon after. It's going to be fun! :)

Speaking of "Girls," it is running along beautifully, while "AAM" is struggling. Oh well, you win some, and you lose some...but I have overall enjoyed AAM because I feel I have gained friends during the course of it. It was more than worth it!

Something that I have been enjoying is playing around with creating patterns for the game! It isn't very difficult, in fact - it's really easy - but I have fun with it, just the same. I also like that I can share them with people, and I hope that you guys enjoy them as much as I do!

On the stories front:

The Braxton's will have a new chapter out - POSSIBLY tomorrow! I have everything put together now, it's  just the matter of finding the time to sit down and write it! This will be the final chapter of Ari & Fiona's generation, and we will officially start with Blaze in the following chapter! I think everyone is really going to like him, I have a lot planned!

Venus is in the works as well. As a lot of you know, I lost ALL of my saves in the Generations installation and had to completely remake everyone. Luckily, I keep .sim files of all of my important sims, so no big deal! Just tedious and time consuming. This will possibly be the final, or at least next to last chapter for Venus' story. I am sad to see her come to an end, but I can guarantee that you have not seen the last of her.

Sugar N Spice - this one is definitely in the works. I have taken a lot more time working on it than I planned on, but I have my idea - I just need to get the photos! I knew that these would not be regular, but I took on too many projects at once, and this got put on the back burner. It is coming, though!

06/11/11 - Various Crap.

Long time, no post! :)

I have been spending way too much time chatting over at Unbound lately. It has been hindering my simming abilities, but on the bright side, I have made a lot of new friends! :-) I can't really complain about that, can I?

I have also installed Generations, and been having a crapload of problems with it. I started out with Devani and Arden, but sadly, they had so many problems that I had to leave them alone, and start with someone new. So, now I am playing with Venus's daughter, Jewel! There have been a few minor problems, but nothing too big.

I started Cycle 2 of GJWHF, and it is going really well! There are a lot of great contestants! PistolKitten was just announced the winner of assignment 1. You can find out more info about that here:

All About Me is running as slow as molasses. I don't know what the problem with that is, but I am going to try to make an epic assignment that will revive it. :-)

I have just retired from competing for the time being, I just have too much on my plate right now. BUT...I went out with a bang! Me and Venus won Sensation's Next Top Model!

I was pretty excited about that. It's obvious that I try to do everything I can to not edit photos at all, but I ended up taking myself out of my comfort zone, and started editing photos more. After AAM is finished, and I wrap up Venus's story, I might compete again. It was hard for me to resist joining Bliss's comp, Pink, but I had to. I need to get more into my stories.

Speaking of stories, there will be a Braxton update coming this week! I have enough photos for one more chapter, before Generations flubbed my game up. Everything else us pretty much on pause until I can get everything settled with the new EP. Hopefully, it won't be TOO long, because I am ready to get Venus finished, the next Generation of the Braxton's started, and another fairytale written for Sugar and Spice!

They were only supposed to be modeling together, but they ended up being SO much more! I just kept taking pictures of them, because I was mesmerized by their cuteness. Their signs are compatible and everything. They just adored each other. I'm excited now!

I'm still here...so I'm guessing that everyone else is still here. No apocalypse today, huh?

Anyways, I'm still banned from the forums. I have been sort of busy, anyways, so chances are I would not have been around much. *flips EA the bird*

I'm crossing my fingers that it will be lifted tomorrow. I would like to post scores for "GJWTHF." It's not really all my fault, I am still waiting on one judge to send in scores. :-)

Meanwhile, I will be joining Beech's "My New BFF" competition, for Teen Sensation. Hopefully, I make it though to the actual comp. I made a sim especially for this. Teens can be funny things to create. I decided to start from scratch and make one, rather than just aging down another model.

I absolutely can not freakin' WAIT until Generations comes out. I really don't want to stuff more money in EA's pockets, but since I just paid to upgrade mine AND my mom's computers to be able to play the game, I feel like it will be ok. *rolls eyes*

I am pausing the Braxton's until after it's release, although there is an update coming this week:

Two new chapters in less than a month's span? Even Fiona is shocked! :-P

Lots of stuff is going on, and I have lots of cutesy pictures, so I  might as well go ahead and write some new chapters before Gens comes out, because I am abandoning ALL STORIES until I have my fill of the new EP, and then they will commence. :-P

I still haven't really decided who I want to play with. It's a toss-up between Bridgette and Amelie. I'm so confused!

This week, other than writing the next Braxton chapter, and trying to get something out of Venus, I will be absorbed in competition/magazine work. :-)

Oh, and the new cycle of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" will come out this week! :-D Get ready to join!
