So, I have been sort of occupied lately, and sort of letting my projects slide a little bit - and here is why!

I have been busy helping my friend, Brad, get his site set up, and I am also an admin of it!

06/11/11 - Various Crap.

Long time, no post! :)

I have been spending way too much time chatting over at Unbound lately. It has been hindering my simming abilities, but on the bright side, I have made a lot of new friends! :-) I can't really complain about that, can I?

I have also installed Generations, and been having a crapload of problems with it. I started out with Devani and Arden, but sadly, they had so many problems that I had to leave them alone, and start with someone new. So, now I am playing with Venus's daughter, Jewel! There have been a few minor problems, but nothing too big.

I started Cycle 2 of GJWHF, and it is going really well! There are a lot of great contestants! PistolKitten was just announced the winner of assignment 1. You can find out more info about that here:

All About Me is running as slow as molasses. I don't know what the problem with that is, but I am going to try to make an epic assignment that will revive it. :-)

I have just retired from competing for the time being, I just have too much on my plate right now. BUT...I went out with a bang! Me and Venus won Sensation's Next Top Model!

I was pretty excited about that. It's obvious that I try to do everything I can to not edit photos at all, but I ended up taking myself out of my comfort zone, and started editing photos more. After AAM is finished, and I wrap up Venus's story, I might compete again. It was hard for me to resist joining Bliss's comp, Pink, but I had to. I need to get more into my stories.

Speaking of stories, there will be a Braxton update coming this week! I have enough photos for one more chapter, before Generations flubbed my game up. Everything else us pretty much on pause until I can get everything settled with the new EP. Hopefully, it won't be TOO long, because I am ready to get Venus finished, the next Generation of the Braxton's started, and another fairytale written for Sugar and Spice!

Jewel is certainly a character. She has a personality just like her mother. Garnett is VERY much a ladies man!

I have two articles due by tomorrow, and I still have a little work left to do on them. I hope to have some time to work on them this evening, if I can keep myself from the chat box! *lol*

I had to spend most of last week working on Sensation stuff, because I slacked off, and I was sick for a week. Blah. Oh well, it turned out to be fun!

I ended up finding my couple for Generations.

I'd now like to introduce you to Devani and Ardan.

They were only supposed to be modeling together, but they ended up being SO much more! I just kept taking pictures of them, because I was mesmerized by their cuteness. Their signs are compatible and everything. They just adored each other. I'm excited now!

I'm still here...so I'm guessing that everyone else is still here. No apocalypse today, huh?

Anyways, I'm still banned from the forums. I have been sort of busy, anyways, so chances are I would not have been around much. *flips EA the bird*

I'm crossing my fingers that it will be lifted tomorrow. I would like to post scores for "GJWTHF." It's not really all my fault, I am still waiting on one judge to send in scores. :-)

Meanwhile, I will be joining Beech's "My New BFF" competition, for Teen Sensation. Hopefully, I make it though to the actual comp. I made a sim especially for this. Teens can be funny things to create. I decided to start from scratch and make one, rather than just aging down another model.

I absolutely can not freakin' WAIT until Generations comes out. I really don't want to stuff more money in EA's pockets, but since I just paid to upgrade mine AND my mom's computers to be able to play the game, I feel like it will be ok. *rolls eyes*

I am pausing the Braxton's until after it's release, although there is an update coming this week:

Two new chapters in less than a month's span? Even Fiona is shocked! :-P

Lots of stuff is going on, and I have lots of cutesy pictures, so I  might as well go ahead and write some new chapters before Gens comes out, because I am abandoning ALL STORIES until I have my fill of the new EP, and then they will commence. :-P

I still haven't really decided who I want to play with. It's a toss-up between Bridgette and Amelie. I'm so confused!

This week, other than writing the next Braxton chapter, and trying to get something out of Venus, I will be absorbed in competition/magazine work. :-)

Oh, and the new cycle of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" will come out this week! :-D Get ready to join!

Well...the forums are back. That's fun, right? ;-)

Oh well. At least I was able to do some scoring for my competitions! :-D

While they were down, I made another new sim for my magazine assignment. She will be working with Amelie. They will make a nice pair I think. You can find her here:

I also had my entry to do for "SNTM." Here it is:

It was supposed to be black and white using shadows and lighting effects. I'm not too sure how I feel about it, but I do feel like it was the best that I could do. Oh well - you can't win 'em all, right?

It sure doesn't look like it - but it took me FOREVER to do.



I extended the due date for "All About Me." I certainly hope that this comp starts moving faster, but what could I do...the forums were down for over an entire day, and there were still 8 entries to be turned in. :-S I'm sure the judges wouldn't mind the load being taken off of them, but I'd still hate to lose that many before the first assignment is even done with! *lol*


Scores will be up for "GJWTHF" tomorrow, at least by tomorrow evening, I am hoping! The scores are starting to get REALLY tight, so every little bit counts as far as judges. I am waiting on at least one more set of scores before I post anything. I don't feel like it's an accurate depiction with just two sets of scores, I don't know why. 3 or 4 seems like a much better number for judges.


I have decided that I am not playing with my Braxton family anymore until Generations comes out! :-D I want them to have an amazing wedding, and they should rightfully be the first Braxton's to have a great one (or...one at all. :-P) Still, there should be a new chapter, soon!

Venus is next on the list, and then I shall be working on another fairytale for Sugar and Spice! It's a secret, though!

Hint - I'll need lots of RED clothes. ;-)

Well, I guess it's time for me to go to bed since the sun is almost up!

05/16/11 - EA SUCKS!

NEWSFLASH - THE FORUMS ARE DOWN!

(just in case you didn't know...:-P)

Luckily, I have had a lot to keep myself busy today. I had family over for awhile this evening, and I actually had a chance to work on putting my sims blog together.

I uploaded 4 today. I plan to slowly upload all of my sims and townie edits.

If you have a request of a sim I have already done, I will be glad to give it a higher place in my queue. :-D

Braxton sims (founders/heirs/spares) will NOT be posted in this part of the blog, they will all continue to be posted on the Braxton downloads page. I will also work on getting that up to date with Generation 2. Extra characters (if they belong to me) will be posted to my sims blog a little along.

I'll try to get some dudes up later this week. :-P That will require me going through my old saved sims folder from before my reinstall!

On the flip side, about the forums being down - I was not able to score ANY entries for my modeling comps. This means that "GJWTHF" scores will not be posted until Tuesday, and that I will be giving an extra day to all of my "All About Me" contestants to get their entries in. I don't feel as if it would be fair to keep the date the same, considering that they couldn't even get into the forums to check the requirements or post their entries. I don't think anyone will argue with me! *lol*

Oh well, that's two entries in this blog in one day. That will make up for the one that will NOT be here tomorrow! ;-)
